The six words in this piece of art i think are what are found in everyones life but especially Gatsby's. Gatsby is in pain because he cant be with Daisy because of Tom Buchanan. But of course Gatsby is madly in love with Daisy. Wilson of course hates Gatsby because he believes Gatsby killed his wife, truth is though he should actually hate Tom because it is Tom who was driving Gatsby's car. Gatsby of course gets pleasure from hosting people over at his house and every gets pleasure from being there. Then there is of course the contrast of life and death. Gatsby is practically willing to give up his life so that he can live his dream and be with Daisy. This act of course leads to his death. The words though don't apply only to Gatsby. There are tons of examples in this book and also in any Americans life.
